Outside compressor will not shut off without shutting off breaker. Any Ideas?

Have you made any changes in t-stat, or wires or any work outside next to the unit?
If no, then turn power off to the outdoor unit, and remove the service panel. You will fine low voltage wire going to the contactor.. undo that wire, and turn the power back on.. If it still runs, then you have a stuck contactor.
