I have a ceiling fan and light kit where the light and fan have separate switches that control them. Also, the light is on a dimmer. In addition, the light kit works off of a 3-way switch.
I had this installed previously, but had a problem with the fan and have to re-install a new one.
There are 4 wires coming out of the ceiling: white, black, red, green. The ceiling fan/light kit has 4 wires: white, black, blue and green.
Can anyone guide me as to how to hook this up correctly so that the light will work on the dimmer as well as on the 3-way and the fan will work on its own separate switch?
Thanks!

The normal connections, not guaranted to work in every situation, and assuming you just have one wire of each color in the ceiling box, would be: Ceiling black to fan black. Ceiling white to fan white. Ceiling green to fan green. Ceiling red to fan blue.

And if the wrong switch works the fan and light just swap the red and black wires at the ceiling.
