Don,

Left click on your name at the top of one of your posts and a dialogue box should open where you will find a selection called "Find all posts by ......".

The permissions I have are different than yours so if that doesn't work, here is a link (http://forum.doityourself.com/search.php?searchid=60726) to your previous posts.

I clicked on the link and it says, that I do not have permission to access this page. It says the same if I left click on my name.

Now what??????????????????

Don,

I have the same problem. One thing you can do is to go to User CP, and change your settings such that you are automatically subscribed to threads in which you post. You can then go back and see those threads.

Unfortunately, that does not give you the ability to search through those threads, and it will only subscribe you to threads you post in after the setting is changed. It's better than nothing though.

Or, you could volunteer to become a moderator. :p

Don,

Did that link I gave you work?

The search function here has long been a problem.
Hopefully it will someday be fixed.

Maybe the clock will also get fixed some time. - Or is the site really located in some place in the Atlantic or Maritime time zone?

The clock works fine. Goto your UserCP and select options. Down near the bottom of the page you set your time zone.

If I can't search the past then here is my ???

In windows 2000 Pro (since I reinstalled it) I am starting to get this pop up message again, called MESSANGER SERVICE.
I had it once; before I reinstalled 2000 and was told (here) how to get rid of it and I did. Now I forgot how. Since I can't go back and look at a past post. I need help again. How do I get rid of it???????????

Right click on "My Computer", select Manage.

Double-click "Services and Applications", then select Services.

Find "Messenger" in the list of services, and double click it. Change the "Startup type" to disabled. Click Stop, then click OK.

Close all the windows you have opened.

Done.
