I am trying to replace my bathroom sink faucet-the screws holding the handles on are rusted through and the handles just pulled off. What I have left is plastic and on each handle it just goes round and round. Do I need to drill out the rusted screws? and just saw off the remainder of the old faucet??? Please help-I just threw a towel over it for the holidays : :wall:

If you are replacing the faucet, why are you dealing with the handles? You disconnect the faucet from underneath the sink.
If you really meant that you were replacing the cartridges, then you just need new screws to attach the handles to the new cartridges.
