Hi guys! I have a 2200 sq ft patio with saltillo tile that is in poor condition. I want to remove the tile in prep for a stamped overlay. What is the best procedure and tools for removing this tile. The tile is soft but I need to get a pretty clean, smooth finish at the end for the overlay. What do you recommend for the procedure and tools to do this work. I will be doing it myself.

An electric chipping hammer followed with a grinder to remove any stubborn mortar. Use safety gear and block off all vents and doorways into the work area.
