I need to remove the strainer assembly from from SS kitchen sink but all I can do is get the complete unit to spin around in the sink. The large nut on the underside is stuck/corroded tight. Any suggestions for getting this assembly out so I can replace it? I have already bowed the sink a little.
Thanks for any advice.

May be a two person job. One person on the top side with a pair of Channel-lock plier handles stuck into the bottom of the strainer (with a screwdriver stuck through the handles for leverage) and one person down below with a pipe wrench to turn the nut. Good luck.
