Hi all, last year we finished our upstairs attic space, it is used as a bedroom now. When you walk up the stairs there is a section on top left of the stairs that we want to use as a closet space. The problem is the area is quite large and the ceiling angles down through the space. My problem is finding a door system for this area. The area is probably 5-6 feet tall by about 10 to 12 feet wide. Does anyone have any ideas of what to do for a door? I'm thinking sliding doors on a track. They can't swing out b/c they would swing out over the stairs.
So I guess my real question is, does anyone know how to build a closet door that is roughly 6' tall and 6' wide that is light enough to slide on a track?
Thanks to anyone with some info.

Well, they make hollow doors that slide on tracks
I haven't seen any 6x6es, but then I haven't been looking for them :)
Definately worth a few calls to your local lumberyards/hardware stores
