I really need help. My son threw one of those sticky hand type toys on the wall in his bedroom. It has left an oily spot that won't go away. How do I remove this oily spot?

Latex paint tends to porous and absorbent, especially of oily stains. You can try rubbing with dishliquid and water solution or a little all-purpose cleaner. Latex tends not to respond well to much washing. If stain can not be removed, it will need to be covered with primer/sealer before painting over in order to prevent bleed through.
