This glue leaked out of my bath vanity, on the fiberglass part, not the sink. I'm having a walk thru my home in the next couple weeks and need to have the glue gone, like it was. Any help or suggestions please??? I already tried oops and goof off and they didnt work :(

The usual solvent for superglue is acetone, but I don't know if that would be safe to use on fiberglass - I have a can somewhere in the garage and I'll see if I can find it and whether it mentions use on fiberglass. Superglue tends to be brittle, I would try chipping it off first.

As indicated acetone is used for Super Glue removal. Acetone nail polish remover should work. Test first in inconspicuous place for ill effects. Acetone is used to thin gel coat on fiberglass, so take care to work quickly and work from outside glue spot toward middle to prevent spreading.

The nail polish remvr worked perfect! Why didnt I think of that....makes perfect sense to apply the acetone. Home depot is a tad full of it cause they were talkin me into some heavy duty adhesive remvr for alot of money. I knew I could count on this site for help. Hope your having a Merry Christmas day!! Thx again. :glocke:

glad to hear it worked out for you...the problem with some big box stores are that they have a limited number of people...they shuffle them around so you end up with people in areas that have no or limited experience..and of course some places beat it into their heads..sell sell sell
