I have a Moose Z1100 (SYS 1) security system that was installed by the previous owners of my house. The owner left me the instruction manual with his Personal Authorization Code (PAC).

We lost power for several days and the system was running off the battery back up. I think that the back up battery was drained over the few days that the power was out. Now the motion detectors cannot be turned off and anytime a movement is made the keypad beeps. PLEASE HELP STOP THE BEEPING!!!!!!!

If command 4 (plus PAC, depending on programming) no longer turns off the interior zones (which is what these should have been programmed as), then what has happened is that the zone programming has gotten scrambled (which is what's been known to happen to these old workhorses if they run on a failing battery).

If so, you will need to list out what the zones are supposed to be set as. There is a way to get back into the programming and get them reset, just realize that there's no telling what other parts of the system program may have been scrambled.
