I just had installed a Fujitsu ductless heat pump unit and I'm wondering why the fan keeps running after the room reaches the set temperature. I'd like for the unit to shut off after the temperature is met just like a regular unit. I've tried all of the settings but the fan continues to run. Can anyone help?

Check you install/set up manual. I am sure there is away to turn it off.
Otherwise contact teh installing dealer and have them come back.

I've been through all of the settings and what I don't understand is that even when it is set to heating and after the room heats and the outside unit shuts off the inside unit fan still keeps blowing and blows cold air. Why would a unit fan blow cold air after it just heated a room.

I honestly don't know what to say..
Like I said, you are best to contact the dealer who installed this and have them come out under warranity.
don't mess too much more with it, or it may void the warranity.

These ductless mini splits are cool. Not many of them in the states though. Check the Operators manuel throughly, maybe read through it a couple of times, those things are quite thick but very detailed. After reading a while you will see that it was not written by anyone with a degree or diploma from any american school of the english language. Thats OK cause they get their meaning through anyway. Your fan selector setting probaply has settings such as High-Med.-Low-Auto. The auto setting should allow the blower to stop (after a short delay) once the set point is reached, although there may be a setting in the "system" selection that would keep the blower going even after it has reached it's set point. I know for sure that Freidrick & Samsung mini split's have a "DRY" setting in the ststem selection area. Being in this mode will keep the fan runing continously. Good Luck and keep an open mind when learning to operate that unit. It's probably like nothing you've operated in the past, but once you figure it out I think youwill realy like it.
