Hello,
I purchase and installed a Hunter programmable thermostat [Auto saver #44550] to go with my Lenox Pulse High Efficiency gas furnance. Long story short after installing the thermostat it did damage to my furnce to the tune of all most $700.00. [Damaged my ignition control and my gas value.] My furnace company came out and said I needed to install an isolation reley before I installed the thermostat and he hoped it did not do any damage. A litttle to late for that idea.
Hunter fan company said it is not their fault but the furance company said they always put an isolation reley with a programmable thermostat.
Anybody know if this true. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
