I have a 30 year old epco electric house heater in Austin Texas, that clicks when turned on but the fan is not blowing unless you turn the t stat from auto to on. Things I have checked. 230 volts to all the power wires and circuit breakers are on and puting out 230v -ok. Is there a time delay that lets the heater elements cycle before turning on the blower and controling the fan to cool then after heating cycle is complete or is the thermostat the problem ? I do have a nice vom i can run some test with and the electrical diag. is on the pannel cover. As long as I turn ont the fan from auto to on it heats fine. MFG epco. not realy familiar with that unit but most have a fan relay, sounds like the fan relay is bad.
