It depends
Can you post up some more info about the bed?
Wood beds with wood slats?
How are the side rails attached to the head and foot?
Does this board go head to toe, or side to side?
Stuff like that

the head is just a board above the feet.
each foot is a -- L -- shape, the side rails are screwed to the feet.
sort like in this pic, top bed:

except the foot is sticking out in my bed as a seperate piece.

and the whole space between the rails is a storage box,
with plywood or something nailed at the bottom and some board at the top (the matress goes on that).

that nailed plywood at the bottom is what I asked about.
its impossible to remove the rails before removing the plywood. it gets stuck there.

It could very well be impossible to dis-assemble the bed w/o removing that piece
It's not screwed? It's nailed?
It was delivered as one unit?

Regardless, if you need to dis-assemble the bed, you probably have little choice
If it is screwed, then it's OK, no problem
If it's nailed, you'll have to be careful
Go slow, watch the finish, try not to split anything

(deffinately nailed, it came in pieces but second hand)
yeah, I figured..
thanks
