I have an Ademco Vista 10-p alarm panel. I have the installer and master codes. I have purchased the Compass Downloader Software along with a modem for my laptop where I can remotely program the panel. I have configured everything but when I dial into the panel and connect, it disconnects because it says I have the incorrect Subscriber Account Number. When I go into Installer Mode on the keypad, Field 43 & 44 shows "15" on the display and continuously beeps.

I am just trying to connect using the software so that I can program the panel remotely.

Can you help?

Those locations are for the central station account numbers, they are different from the downloader access code (CSID) that has to match between the download computer and the panel.

The way it works, it you have to use command *96 to reset the CSID in the panel to it's factory default. Then you use first time communication in the software. Check your documentation for the download software.

Basically, unless you are going to use this software to do a lot of Ademco-type panels, in my opinion, it's more hassle than manual programming.
