I presently am using an amana stat ( T874g189910574101 ) and want to replace it with a honeywell 7400. I have an amana heatpump ( with an outdoor anticipator reset ) and a gas furnace. The amana stat uses the following connections ; w2 jumpered to e(tan) , g (green) , c / x (Blue), r (red), y(Yell) , and o(orange). The honeywell only uses 5 wires if Im reading it correctly doesn't take into account the outdoor anticipator .I'm guessing I'd hook up the anticipator to the honeywell w2 screw ? Am I correct in assuming I use the diagram for heatpump instead of the conventional wiring ?
