 I love to cook, but it always happens that no matter how careful i am, grease gets on my clothes. How can I get the grease off without ruining my clothes. :wall:

I think a good heavy duty laundry detergent would be enough for spatter. If that doesn't do the trick, you could blot the stains with mineral spirits (do not use mineral spirits on polyester).

Pretreat grease stains with heavy duty, liquid laundry detergent and let set before washing. Blotting stains with rubbing alcohol, denatured alcohol, or dry cleaning fluid may be necessary. Wearing an apron is helpful to protect clothing from grease splatters.

I have successfully used those heavy duty hand cleaners to remove grease from clothing. I think one brand name is GoJo but there are others. You can get them in the automotive section of variety stores.

This will not work on clothing that has been washed previously, only on fresh grease spots. Just rub some on and wash the clothing as usual.
