I've already asked a guy at work and he says i'm screwed.
I know there has got to be a common wiring practice.
If anyone knows the color code for a heat pump w/aux heat i' d really like to know.

Ya see, here is the problem.
1 All units are different, so we would need to know the brand and model #.
2 All stats are different, so we would need to know the brand, and model #.
3 And all that being said whoever hooked it up to begin with could have hooked it up strangly like using a blue wire for red, and a white wire for brown.
So if you are ready to dig into your unit to see which color wire is hooked to what inside the unit some one here might be able to help you if you provide the info in 1 and 2.
