Anyone have any experience with California brand paints? Does it compare to Ben Moore and other quality paints?

I don't know if you will get an answer on that here or not. Sometimes a local paint manufacture will make good paint, formulated specifically for that region. Of course they also might make a marginal paint just good enough to get by with.

If no one that has used california paint replies [and even if they do] I would talk to neighbors, friends, people at work, etc to find out their experiences with that brand.

Believe it or not, California Paints are on the east coast and midwest. Consumer reports ranks them pretty well, but I'd still be curious how painting contractors find them.

I never heard of them. I've painted in about a dozen states over the years [mostly S.E.] and don't recall any paint by the name but then as I age there seems to be lot I can't recall :D
