I am searching for some tips or steps to installing a new interior prehung door. Any help will be appreciated.

Everything has to be plumb and square. Start with the hinge side of the frame, then the latch side and then the top. Use a level to check for plumb and the door to check for square (keep a consistent gap between the door and frame). You'll need to have lots of shims. An air compressor and finish nailer make the job a lot easier. Not required, but I think an extra set of hands helps.
