found 2 B&S engines at junk yard
1st. engine model 130252 type 076501 code 79051407
2nd.engine model 80202 type 016901 code 75061608
Question as follows: can I swap the extended cam shaft from the
2nd motor to the 1st.motor?
Cases look like they will bolt up with no problem.
Carbs and gas tanks look the same also.

why do you want to swap them? your sure you talking about the cam? not the crank?

The cam shaft extends thru the cover assembly, out about 2-2 1/2".
The cam shaft goes in the reverse direction to turn a small double pulley.
I would like to put the motor on another older Ariens snowblower.
On a different forum a poster put a newer b&s motor on his Ariens. Had to reroute the chute crank (to clear the gas tank) and a few other minor changes. Was considering doing this also,if the cams will interchange.
Have another older Ariens that has a tecumseh on it.
Cheese and others helped with getting that one up and running.
Thanks for any help!

Without measuring the specs on each I couldn't advise you well. But what I do know is that each engine has a different crankshaft and most likely different size PTO bearings whereas you won't be able to merely use the cam and sump cover from one and use it on the other. And I'm sure the crank from the one with the extended cam can't be used on the other as the 8-series engine is a 3 horse and the 13-series is a 5 horse.
