Request any advice:
less than 1 year old, attic unit Ducane 1.5 Ton :)
(house has 2 units, one up, one down)
in heat mode, unit trips off main 30amp breaker in about 4 minutes. If I set thermostat to emergency heat, it does not trip breaker, but no heat is generated although blower keeps on blowing.... nice cold air. No sign of heat stip doing anything nor the compressor unit.
(NOTE: I don't see my compressor fan working on the downstairs unit either, so I'm guessing it is all heat strips? or can the compressor work without the fan?)

Inside the unit all looks to be wired properly, it worked fine a few weeks ago, and the air works great.

Any ideas? please?

Probably need a tech on this but there are a couple of things you can check yourself if you like. 1. Set the thermostat to heat and go out to the outside unit see if you can determine if the compressor is running or not 2. If compressor is determined to be running take a stick and give the condensor fan a push to see if it will start turning (also push it to see if it is hard to turn locked up) Report back results ASAP.
