I have a coleman heat pump with backup natural gas heater, m/n BGU07516. Heat pump works normal, but when the T-stat calls for the gas heater to come on the vent motor runs and at 10 sec. the Hot surface ignitor glows. The flame lights at 30 sec., Ignitor loses power at 35 sec., flame burns and at 42 sec. flame pulfs and goes out. This repeats two more times then every thing stops except the blower. I have replaced the Hot surface ignitor and the Electronicc blower control board. What is the problem with the unit? Could it be the gas valve, ignitor module, or the T-stat. If so how do I locate the problem. The unit is 5 year old and has a Coleman manual T-stat.

Hot surface ignitor does two jobs it is the ignitor and the flame sensor.
