Hi folks!

I have a Bryant Plus80t gas furnace and it doesn't ignite properly sometimes.

This is what happens: first a blower goes, the igniter glows, the gas valve clicks and flame starts from left and moves to right. The problem is that the last 2 'pipes' are slow to light and so the sensor at the last one doesn't register flame and it shuts down.

What is preventing the flame from moving on? What can I do to fix it?

Thanks!

When was the last time you had a clean/tune up?

Sounds like the burners may need to be cleaned or the cross over bars.. Or could be the orfice. or poor gas pressure..

I took my air compressor and blew the manifold and the whateveryamacallits where the flame burns and made sure they were clean.
And what do you know - I woke up to a house that was still warm.
Thanks!

Glad to hear it's up and going.
