HELLO glad I found this forum.. I have a GE side by side with water and Ice maker.. unit is about 5 yrs old... the last few days weve notice that the items on the top shelf in the freezer were starting to defrost, including the door side too... while the bottm half are froze solid??? I have checked the gasket and have un scred the light bulb but still getting this effect... Also I have noticed some frost build up along the back of the freezed wall... \
The fridge side seem ok but maybe a little warmer than normal.. THANK you for any advice.... I did check the forum for same problems but to no avail..

See my reply to Whirlpool ref. thread. The only difference on your ref. is yours will have 2 or 3 seperate heaters. Dave
