Someone put white vinyl windows in my recently purchaced lodge style home. Is there any way that I can tone down the white and possibly even have a flat black finish to compliment my track lighting that hangs high above the antique fixtures I've installed? :why_this:

Applying any kind of paint to vinyl windows usually voids the company's warranty. But you can certainly paint it if you want. Since vinyl is a type of plastic, dark colors don't work well in direct sunlight because it makes the vinyl get too hot, which increases the chances of it becoming warped or disfigured. That's why your warranty would be voided if you painted it.

Sounds like you want to paint the interior of the window only. I think that will be OK since it won't be getting the direct sunlight. As XSleeper says, you might void the warranty.
