I will renew my very old drill - a Black&Decker, very soon.
In the process, I got to know Ryobi here in Portugal.
In forum users opinion what is the best buy, a B&D or a Ryobi?
I will decide between:
1. B&D KR70K or,
2. RYOBI EID-750 RE
Thank you all for your valuable inputs,
Carlos
PS: This is my first time at doityourself :)

Need more info....Will you be using it almost everyday {i.e. are you in the constuction field}? Will this be corded or cordless? I prefer Milwaukee{1--1/2" H.D & 2 cordless drills one of them is a H.D} & PorterCable{1 reciprocating saw,1 cordless drill}.Godd luck in your search

ampz is right on, we need more information. There are a lot of good drills out there and what you plan to do with it is the biggest factor in picking the right one. If you absolutely want it to be one of the two you mentioned, go pick up both of them and see if one feels better in your hand than the other.

It is not for daily use, only for some home works.
I plan to buy it corded.
We, in Portugal, do not know neither Mikwaukee nor PorterCable brands.
Thank you anyway,
Carlos

I plan to buy it corded.
In that case I'd suggest staying with a traditional drill/driver
Hammer drills are generally over-kill for the average homeowner use
