This is a Whirlpool top loader.
We have an intermittent problem with grease from the washer getting on clothes. A primary inspection by a repair tech said it would take several hours at $100 an hour just to diagnose the problem. My inspection from the back shows no sign of grease any place on the outer surfaces but this doesn,t surprise me. Any ideas on where to look and what to replace? I am thinking transmission it is a 31/2 year old machine.
It did it again, apparently no one here knows anything about Whirlpool doing this. All Whirlpool will say is " replace it, it has out lived its useful life". I will never buy one of there products again
