We have a drop-in 6 year old Whirlpool stove/oven that will no longer heat up. My son pressed the self-clean button and it did the self-clean and finished. However, now when we select bake or broil, it acts like it is going to heat up and the fan comes on, but neither element heats up. Everything else seems to work. The stove works fine. The clock and the timer work. The oven seems to think that it is "okay", because it says it is preheating, but their is no heat. We turned off the breaker for a short period, and then for a long period in hopes of getting it to reset. It did finally think it had a power failure and the PF showed up on the control panel. However, this did not fix the problem. Any ideas?
Thanks.

I posted a reply in the tread titled " Whirlpool oven elements not working after cleaning, light and fan work" This should be the problem with your drop-in range as well.
