My Kenmore Series 70 Washer will not spin, it currently just buzzes at the Spin Cycle.
For some background, the washer started to smell (I believe like a burning oil and metal smell) and make some noise. After running it through a few cycles, it started to stop at the end of each cycle change (before spinning, before draining, etc.), then I would wait for 10 minutes or so and start it again and it would go. Now I am stuck at the last spin cycle and it only buzzes. I can change and have it fill with water, but nothing else.
The washer is about 17 years old, any thoughts of where to look to repair this?
