hi,
i have a lowrider pushbike and i wanted to ask a few questions on building a small, portable system on a trailer.
i am looking at getting a very basic car amp, a pair of 3-way speakers (and maybe an 8 inch subwoofer) and will hook it up to my mp3 player or a possible head unit. my mate one of these and he ran it off a motorcycle battery, how long would one (or two) batteries last for this application? should i use a car battery?

Get a couple SLA GelCells. Any good battery vendor will be able to help you choose them.

How long the battery lasts depends on how much power you use. How many watts the amp is and how loud you turn it up both affect the battery time.
