heres a motor that looks EXACTLY like mine. I dont know the model number or anything for mine, and i need it to purchase a new crankshaft. If you have an idea on what model number it is that would be great. Its a 8 HP briggs & stratton. obviously one of the older models :p the pics are below

OK i came up with needing a crankshaft 1" dia, Keyway, Tapped, 7/16-20. Would i be able to fit a clutch on that crankshaft? i also found that engine model number 190452 is almost the exact same motor as mine. it has the 6 to 1 gear reduction and my motor has a gear reduction crankshaft. so im looking to change it from a gear reduction crankshaft to a tapped crankshaft so i can put a clutch on it. so the specs on my motor are 190452 8.0hp 5549/6049 492470 6 to 1 Gear Reduction and the crank shaft i plan on getting in comming from 190412 8.0hp 6023 495884 1" dia, Keyway, Tapped, 7/16-20 would it work?
