LG Refrigerator..year and a half old. It's already had the thermostat changed last June because everything was freezing.
Now it's doing the same thing. What might be causing this besides the thermostat?

Just reread the post.Thought you were having problems in the freezer. If the cold control[sets temp in the ref] is stuck in the on position[is this what the guy changed]or the damper that lets the air into the ref from the freezer is stuck open. these could be your problem. if the CC is broke it would leave the damper open or something specific to the damper could be the problem.

The repairman was in and adjusted the door on it's hinges. Apparently the light wasn't going off when the door was closed.

That would do it. Hard to believe the heat from a lightbulb would make that much a difference, but it does.
