anyone know if a Honda HR 214 engine can be made to work horizontal?

Anything can be made to work if put enough time and money into it. I think it would be cheaper and easier to just get a horizontal engine instead of trying to re-invent the wheel.

not here it isn't,besides i have the honda,and probably coul'nt sell it for anything

if its a vertical, pretty much impossible to turn it into a horizontal. verticals are designed so they get their oiling in that orientation. horizontals are designed so they get theirs in their orientation, turn a vertical so its horizontal, it may work, for a couple minutes atleast. a horizontal is the way to go. maybe find a used one?
