if i somehow mounted a 31 cc weed eater mottor to my bike (6 gears in the back) tires are 26 inches how fast might it go

Yow, FAST if you leave the gears the way they are on the wheel and stuff then you're gonna need a HUGE reduction gearbox. If not it'll never go and if it did you'd know what FAST is

Why not just mount a leaf blower on a cargo rack over the rear tire. Go jet propulsion and you won't have to worry about gearing, ect. :rolleyes:

i did my estimate and called a nascar crew team man and gave him the info, he called back and said you may get to an estimated 18-29mph. thats with the 6 gears set right. a good mess up on gears and engine placement can reduce speed by 30-60%. thats about 5-15,mph. use a leaf blower engine (near 25mph) or a 7.5hp riding lawn mower engine (near 35-45mph). that option with riding lawn mower WILL MAKE IT INSANELY FAST, NOT A TOY!!

A REG LAWN MOWER ALSO WORKS. MAYBE 25MPH WITH IT.(my est.)

oh ok. i guess thats wat you would need if you lked 20 instead of 50. i understand that one, after all youll fish tale going fast. i do. mine will reach 55 .

weedeaters......especially a 2 cycle, no governor, they pretty much run in the high rpms..... forget exactly for weed eater brand.....but probablly around 7,000rpm stock.....don't mess with more rpms. they can't handle higher then what they run stock. should go about 20. good gas mileage too :D

how many rpms does a car get and just to let the tow guy no it has not only a hemi but a supercharger

well, a 2 cycle engine such as a weed eater engine, run 7,000 rpm constantly if need be, they are designed for it. a car.....maybe 6,000, but it depends on the design. all auto makers have different engines and different rpm limits set on them.
