I have an older range that has European burners. They are raised SOLID elements. When I purchased the stove I thought that was pretty neat that no food can drop into the burners like my old coil burners did. I haven't seen these anywhere else so I am assuming it was an idea that didn't catch on. Meanwhile, I had some cleaner that came with the range that looks almost like black shoe polish and you wiped it on and burned it off. I am out of that and cannot find more cleaner. (Makes sense if no one is making these burners anymore, eh?) Anyone know where I might find this cleaning item?
