Hi Guys,

About two years ago I installed a new gas water heater. No problems until about a year ago when occasionally, I would not get any water from the hot faucets in the house for about 5-10 seconds. This has steadily gotten worse to the point of waiting a minute or more. About two weeks ago I flushed the heater and the problem was solved, or so I thought. It is happening again, but infrequently. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Thanks.

Depending on the style and brand of water heater, there might be a nipple on the hot side that has a ball inside of it that is sticking/clogging during normal use.

Let us know the brand/model/age/size of water heater.
