I'm receiving new refrigerator on Sat -- the old one just developed a new pinhole leak in the copper tubing -- is there a temporary fix that will hold me until Sat? I did a search -- I'm not replacing if I can help it.

friarbob, Welcome to the DIY Forums.
If its a leak, it's probably Freon leaking. You MAY be able to slow it down with a piece of rubber and a hose clamp. I would think that it is pretty low on Freon by now. Only thing I know of though. Good luck.

no it's definitly water -- when I turned the water valve behind the fridge off -- it stopped leaking.
If the icemaker doesn't work and there's no water dispenser can't I just leave the water off?

Called sears -- basic common sense told me what I thought I already knew and wanted confirmed -- sorry to bother. I turned the water off.

At least you got the problem solved. Thats what we try to do here. It just took a little extra time in your case and a phone call. Glad it's solved.
