Can anyone recommend a couple of good websites to check out different drapery and other window treatment ideas?
the ones I seem to find just have instructions and not much for photos. :)

go to any website where they sell draperies like potterybarn.com, jcpenney.com, countrycurtains.com, brylanehome.com, domestications.com, homevisions.com, spiegel.com, etc. you'll get to see pictures AND prices.
for more pictures of whole room settings, go to websites where they sell the furniture for the room you're wanting the drapery ideas for, like if it's your living room, then go to chair & sofa manufacturer's sites, like Broyill, LaZBoy, Thomasville, etc or to the sites of stores that sell the furniture, like RoomsToGo.com or PotteryBarn.com, etc. Furniture is almost always shown in room settings fully decorated, accessorized & treated windows. or if it's the kitchen you want ideas for, then search under kitchen cabinet manufacturer's websites, like Kraftmaid, etc. or go to tile or vinyl flooring sites. they show a lot of their floors in kitchens, and those windows will have treatments on them.
i haven't had any luck finding websites that just have pictures for decorating ideas that were FREE. they all want you to pay for a membership, like getdecorating.com. the least amount you'd pay there is $15.99 for a month's membership. which would be about what you'd pay for 3 or 4 magazines, but at least you'd have the magazines forever. after a month, you couldn't access the online pictures anymore!
