View Full Version : 27" Samsung No Sound at all?

Hi..I hope someone can help me. Last night my 27" samsung was fine.Tonight I turned it on and there is no sound at all? When I use the remote to adjust the sound the sound bar on the screen moves as asked and the green indicator light flickers telling me it receiving the command/ pushing mute on and off works onscreen as well but no volume/picture is perfect on all channels/also the faint static or hum sound gets noticably louder when the volume is used so there is something coming out the speakers..can I repair this myself? Its model number is

Over- Does your set receive signal the "usual way" - RF coaxial/Cable?

If so, it seems conceivable that within 24 hours somebody else may have gone into the sound settings under Menu and disabled the internal speakers. Look for this menu item and make sure the speaker setting is ON or INTERNAL.

nope..thats not it..I just checked as you asked and its set to speakers ON..any other ideas?..I'm a mechanic so I am a little mechanically inclined to do my own repairs..just dont know a damn thing about T.V's..he he..please help..
