I am looking for some guidance on a problem that I am having with my Sony model KP-53N74 wide screen TV.

The problem that I am having is the red, green and blue beams are not ligning up. I have tried the flash focus button, but it does not help. I have also unplugged the tv, and it did not help. DO I need to replace a board, or is it better to just replace the TV. If it is a bd, where can I get one.

Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

1st thing I'd try is setting the convergence properly.

Thank you for the reply. The only information that I could find on the convergence for this TV is automatic. The front of the TV has a flash focus button, that seems to try and fix the problem, but it doesn't. The menu option has the same option, but it does not fix the problem. Is there something else that I should be looking for, like a settings on the bd.
