Hello all!

i am starting a project to install a wood stove in my living room, next to the main enterance. the living room has existing hardwood. the front enterance way however used to be vinyl. i want to tile where the vinyl used to be and extend it over to the harth. so i need to remove the hardwood from the area to become the harth. so my question is this, how do you cut a rounded cut into existing hardware (it will be a pie shape or wedge shape, exactly a 1/4 circle, 60" radius). the tile will still likely be about 1/2-3/4" higher than the hardwood, there for i need a transition that i can curve, i was thinking about 1/4" round trim with reliefe cuts along the back face, and steam it if i had to... bad idea?

Thanks!

Plunge router with a milling bit.

Roto-zip will work but you will be breaking bits and it is slower and not as controllable.
