I had to replace some of my sub-floor a while back and now and am getting ready to install Pergo or solid hardwood 3/4 inch. The subfloor I replaced is about a 1/16 to 1/8 lower than my older subfloor, and it is right in middle of floor. Both of them were 23/32 so I am not exactly sure why. But will an 1/8 or a 1/16 make a difference or make the floor unlevel when installed with either one of these floors. Thanks alot.

Use layer(s) of roofing felt over the piece of plywood that is lower to bring it up to the same level as the surrounding plywood.
