My recent home purchase has a water heater installed with a direct power vent. Everything with that system looks intact. I found a 110 grounded cord, and another mysterious 4 pin plastic plug on a long wire. Both ends are plastic wiring harness ends-one is plugged into the wiring box for the fan-the other is not hooked to anything. There's my problem...where does that end go, does it turn on automatically based on temp, amt of gases etc? The whole setup looks great and salvageable-I just need where to hook up my new 4 pin friend. :wall:

I would contact the mfg. of the product you have and look up online the PDF format of the electrical configuration.

On some models there is a panel covering the front bottom of unit that has the electrical schematics located on it.
