Hi,
We recently bought our first home which has hardwood floor in the enentrance foyer, kitchen and dining area. The house is about 14 years old but dont know when the hardwood floor was done.
Being all excited with the new house we decided to replace the dishwasher ourselves and save some money. Ofcourse you pay a price for experience !! While removing the old dishwasher it leaked thru the drain hose and even though we tried hard, some water may have gone under the floor which has caused sorrounding boards to curl/warp (like a valley, the center is deeper and sides are higher). The hardwood only goes about 3-4 inches under the dishwasher and then there is regular vinyl (which is why I think the leak easily managed to get under).
We are very tight on money specially after the house, please please please can someone tell me if there is a way to fix it instead of replacing the boards. Mainly because I haven't learned enough to do it myself and can't afford a professional right now.
Thanks very much !!

Don't know what to tell you. The moisture is under the wood, that is a fact.
To get the moisture out from under the flooring remove the trim and get a fan on it and a dehumidifier going close by.
I have seen a high dollar drying system in some of the trade mags. Do a google on drying wood flooring.
