Hello butch 43 and Welcome to the Do It Yourself Web Site and my Gas Appliances topic.

Oven is equiped with a spark ignitor. Therefore, safe to assume it has a pilot light (Flame) which the sparker lights. That flame than heats an element. (Safety) Either the pilot flame is dusty and needs to be cleaned or the safety element is weak.

Try this. Clean sensor end that would be in the pilot flame. Use fine grit sand paper and or steel wool. Clean gently and carefully. Only clean tiny amount off to expose clean surface. Retest. May resolve the problem and may not.

If the cleaning results prove successful, the results may not last long. If the cleaning does not help, element needs to be replaced.

Pilot flame must be all blue. No yellow. Yellow indiceates dusty pilot assembly. To clean pilot assembly, if needed, use a can of computer pressurized keyboard cleaner. Insert plastic extension tube into can. Insert other end of plastic tube end into all open areas of the assembly. Blow out all dusty. Retest and note the results.

Before attempting any repairs, be sure to unplug the appliance from the wall receptacle power source first.

Retail parts dealers and appliances parts stores can also help determine what the possible problem may be based upon that specific brand and model. Bring the make, model and serial numbers. Dealers and appliances parts stores are listed in the phone book.

Additional Suggestions:
Read the manufacturers online web site for product information, problem possibilities, causes, solving methods, part locations, disassembly, reassembly methods, repair procedures, pictorials, schematics, repair and or owners manuals which may be available online.

Cautionary Note:
Before attempting any repairs, be sure to unplug the appliance from the wall receptacle power source first.

sorry, but there is no pilot light on this model, it's all electronic ignition directly to the oven burner...........i did put a volt meter on the gas valve and it sees about 10 1/2 volts when it is lit......zero volts when it is out.
about 2 hours into the bake mode the 10 1/2 volts drops out and it does not re-lite again (but oven cools) .......only way to re -lite the oven is to shut it off and start it again...........again it only lasts about 1 to 2 hours......help one more time..butch 43
