I have an old tractor that I made to go fast, I did this about three months ago. The other day i jammed it in reverse to stop quick and blew a hole out the front of the transaxle, NOT GOOD. Now i have no reverse and still have 1st,2nd,3rd and part of 4th gear.Does anyone know where i can get a new/used tecumseh peerless 4 speed transaxle?

e bay, junk yards, or used mowers that people may have out back with bad engines, mowers sitting outside small engine shops, nobody payed for, they literally sometimes sell if for whats owed, or just mowers nobody wanted.
