I recently found a chair really cheap but the fabric is pretty ugly. So I've been looking into slipcovers and have found several I like but I'm not sure how it really works. Do you just take the measurements, like it says it will fit a chair that's 30 to 43 inches arm to arm. So do I need to just measure from arm to arm? Thanks

yep! those kind of slipcovers have elastic and/or ties so that they can cover a variety of shapes & sizes. it'll probably be a shabby-chic look, as opposed to a nice tailored fit, so be prepared for it to NOT look like the picture!!!
