I purchased a Panasonic DVR that uses DVD-RW. I did not know the difference at the time I bought the machine, but apparently DVD+RW is the common variety, and DVD-RW is scarce. I am having trouble locating the discs, the primary reason for purchasing the d**n thing was to be able to re-record and save some money on the discs.
Anyone know of a source for these DVD's?

Circuit City and Best Buy have them. You can also find them on-line.

I have a DVD-R Recorder and never had a problem finding them. They do come in less of a product size selection howerver.
Staples is by far the cheapest place I have found to get them, unless I hit a good sale somewhere - like I did on 50 packs at CompUSA once.

Edit: Just noticed. Did you mean -R or -RW as you stated. -RW is re-writable. Is that really what you are looking for?

Yes, -RW is what I am looking for, re-writable discs. I'll try the suggested places, I've had no luck at Office Max and local outlets. Office Depot had them, but form some reason they did not work in my unit. Maybe it was just a bad batch of discs.
Thanks.
Thanks.

If you have a Big Lots in your area, check and see if they have any. I bought some for $2 each.
