I'm looking to replace the exterior lock set on my front entrance. The old lock has a 5 inch backset. I really do not want to purchase a new door. Does anyone know where I can purchase a new lock with this size backset? None of the local stores carry anything close.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

If you would like to deal locally, check with your local locksmith or builders hardware store. They will be able to order what you need. Schlage Lock has parts available for this and I imagine other companies may also.

Your other option would be online.

Is Lori Lock still in business? :thinker: I am out of the loop on vendors, but if I remember right, they had a 5 inch available on some of thier decorative hardware???
